Mushroom Mocha Elixir (Contains Caffeine)
Ingredients:
1 cup hot brewed coffee
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1 tablespoon of finely ground mushroom powder (such as Reishi or Lion's Mane)
1 teaspoon coconut sugar or sweetener of your choice
1/2 cup plant-based milk (e.g., almond, oat, or coconut milk)
Optional: a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish
Instructions:
In a blender, combine the hot brewed coffee, cacao powder, mushroom powder, and sweetener.
Blend on high speed until well combined and frothy.
Heat the plant-based milk in a small saucepan until hot but not boiling.
Pour the hot milk into the blender and blend again on low speed until the milk is fully incorporated and the mixture is creamy.
